About Sumo Technologies

In 1994, the IT industry in India was still young, and procurement was one of its biggest bottlenecks. Businesses trying to onboard new employees or scale up a project often found their new hires waiting a week or two before they had a working system, hardware had to be procured first, and that lead time cost companies revenue and cost new employees their first impression of the company.

Sumo Technologies was built to close that gap. Instead of businesses buying and waiting, we offered infrastructure that was already available, ready to deploy the same day it was needed. That single idea, that a business should never have to wait on hardware, is still what the company runs on more than three decades later.

What started with computer rentals in Bangalore has grown into a full IT infrastructure rental business covering laptops, desktops, workstations, servers, printers, networking equipment, and audio visual equipment, delivered across Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Vijayawada.
